Easy Styling for Thanksgiving

Isa Cami - $198 & Zama Skirt - $298

Whether you travel for Thanksgiving or host at home one fact always rings true - you are only ever left with about five minutes to get ready after you’ve tended to everyone else. When designing the fall collection I wanted to be conscious of the challenge we have as mothers to easily dress for any of life’s occasions.

The silk set featuring the Isa Twisted Cami and Zama Tiered Skirt has been an obvious go-to for me this holiday season. If you are in a warmer corner of the world, the cotton/silk blend we’ve chosen for these pieces will be light and comfortable. Simply pair with your favorite shoe and gold jewelry and be on your way. I love my peep toe clogs by Sven for a neutral look and the Jennifer Cuff by my friend Alicia, creator of the line Lingua Nigra.

Our Thanksgiving is spent in rural Pennsylvania so layering is a must when the weather is fairly mild during the day and much colder at night. Here, I’ve paired the set with my favorite cardigan to easily slip on and off.

 Obu Sweater - $298 & Zama Skirt - $298

Several years ago we did have a snow storm come a month early for Thanksgiving and the quick turn of the weather here this year has me thinking I may need to be better prepared. The Obu Popover Sweater is a great compliment to the Zama skirt when you want to be ultra comfortable, warm and still dressed up. Add the Nomi Scarf for extra coziness.

No matter sun or snow, the perfect base pieces are ones that give you the ease of layering (and un-layering) throughout the day. Want more ideas? We've curated a special collection of our favorite pieces of holiday here.
